JOHN MARTIN NEAR THOMASVILLE DIES

Thomasville, Aug. 27.—John G. Martin, a retired farmer, died at 1:20 o'clock Saturday morning at his home, Thomasville, R. D. 1. He was ill for some time. The deceased was in his 90th year. Surviving are his wife, Lucy; a son, Harry S. Martin, Thomasville; two sisters, Mrs. Malinda Coulson, Hanover and Mrs. Edward Spangler, West York and three grandchildren. The deceased was a member of Wolf's Reformed church. Services will be conducted from his late home in Thomasville, Tuesday, with brief services at the house at 9:30 a. m. (EST) and further services in Wolf's church. Interment will be in Wolf's church cemetery. Undertaker W. W. Futer and son, York, are in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lucy Martin, Near Thomasville, Claimed By Death

Thomasville—Mrs. Lucy Stambaugh Martin, widow of John Martin, died at her residence, Thomasville R. D. 1, yesterday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock following a week's illness caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, Harry Martin, Thomasville R. D. 1, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Martin was a member of St. Paul's Reformed (Wolf's) church.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with brief services from her residence. Further services will be held at Wolf's Union church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
