MILLER, BARNET W.

Barnet W. Miller, 34, died at his home in Seattle, Wash., at 11:30 a. m. Monday, June 21.

Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Sam Bass at McGregor at 3 p. m. Sunday, June 27, Rev. Ed Laux officiating, burial in McGregor Cemetery.

Survivors: His widow and two sisters.

Mr. Miller was born in The Dalles, Ore. He had been a member of the Christian Church since childhood. Enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1940 and during World War II he served 31 months in the Field Artillery in the Aleutian Islands. After returning to the United States he was sent to Camp Hood and he served another term of 27 months in the South Pacific. Being there when the war ended and was discharged at Camp Fannin. He was married to Miss Ella Bass of McGregor, Dec. 23, 1944.

Pallbearers: Bud Hamilton, Louie Lyon, Ed Schroeder, Charley Schroeder, Albert Witt, and A. J. Halloway.
