WOODLAND (Yolo Co.), Jan. 23, Miss Julia Alma Miller of Sacramento and Ariel Victor Huntington of Woodland were married here yesterday afternoon. The ceremony was held in the home of Rev. J. D. Hammer.
Huntington is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Huntington of this city. He has resided here for many years and is a product of the local schools. He is engaged in the carpentry business with his father.
The bride lived in Oregon prior to moving to Sacramento three months ago. The newlyweds will make their home in Woodland.

Julia Alma Scott, 53, of 2451 Simpson St. SE, a state employe and a resident of Dallas, Falls City and Portland before coming here eight years ago, died Monday in a Salem hospital.
Surviving are her widower, Roy, Salem; four daughters, Joan Rinehart, Portland, Barbara Hale, Ft. Riley, Kan., Ann Lavern, LaVaur, S.C., and Elsie Huntington, Oakland, Calif.; a sister, Grace Moulde, Tulelake, Calif., and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bollman Funeral Home, Dallas. Interment will be in Falls City Cemetery.
