Mrs. Glenn S. Miller

Mrs. Belva Beatrice Miller, 4th Street, Boiling Springs, wife of Glenn S. Miller, died unexpectedly last night in Carlisle Hospital of a heart attack suffered at her home. She was 50 years old.

She was the daughter of Mrs. Maude Staubb Kurtz and the late Elmer J. Kurtz.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son and two daughters, Paul and Miss Beulah Miller, Boiling Springs, and Mrs. Roy Brame Jr., Carlisle; a brother, William Kurtz, RD6, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the J. R. Shulenberger Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. Rev. J. H. Leman will officate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the funeral home.

Glenn (Toots) S. Miller

Glenn (Toots) S. Miller, 87, died Tuesday at the Forest Park Health Center.

Born Jan. 18, 1901 in Boiling Springs, he was the son of the late Scott and Lillie Sheaffer Miller. He was a retired employee of the Reading Railroad and Carlisle Parks and Recreation Dept. at LeTort Park.

Surviving are a daughter, Jean L. Brehm of Carlisle; a son, Paul R. Miller of Boiling Springs; four sisters, Viola Minich of Boiling Springs, Gladys Smyser and Dorothy Winkleman, both of Carlisle and Thelma Sheeley of Camp Hill; a brother, Clyde Miller of Carlisle; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monroe Township.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to services.
