The wedding of Mr. Edgar E. Schaffer and Miss Hazel L. Miller was solemnized Saturday afternoon, July Fourth at 3 o'clock at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Charles Holtcamp. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. S. Lightbourn of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The ring service was used. The bride wore a pretty gown of blue moire and a corsage bouquet of bride's roses and sweet peas. Only members of the immediate families witnessed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Schaffe will reside with Mr. and Mrs. Holtcamp, 320 North A street, for the present. Their many friends extend congratulations and wish them happiness.

Mrs. Hazel L. Bias

Mrs. Hazel L. Bias, 80, a resident of Good Samaritan Nursing Home near Centerville, died Monday morning after an extended illness. She was a native of Wayne County and had lived in this area her entire life.

Survivors include one son, Earl Ball of Fort Wayne; one brother, Everett Miller, formerly of Richmond, and two grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Bias will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, Rev. W. F. Badgett officiating. Burial will be in Glenhave Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
