BAKER, Laura "Larre", 83, of Ruskin, passed away December 26, 2002 at South Bay Hospital. She was born in Spokane, Washington and came here in 1946 from Canton, Ohio. She was a member of the Ruskin United Methodist Church, the Garden Club of Sarasota and the Ruskin Woman's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; and a son, Jimmy. She is survived by a son, Garry and his wife, Jan of Austin, Texas; three grandsons, Donald, James and Garry Joe; two brothers; a sister, all of Akron, Ohio; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003 at the Ruskin United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. David Looney.

Interment will follow in Ruskin Memorial Park.
