Three new suits have been filed in the Rush circuit court, one a complaint on a note, one a suit for divorce and one a petition to sell real estate.
Ruth McNicholl is seeking a divorce from William McNicholl. The suit states that the couple was married April 12, 1926, and separated January 23, 1930.
The plaintiff alleges that the defendant used foul and profane language towards and in the presence of the plaintiff and that his conduct and language towards the plaintiff in the presence of her friends caused her much embarrassment and humiliation and rendered the further continuance of marriage life unbearable.
The suit charges that although steadily employed, the defendant failed to provide for the support of the plaintiff. She is seeking a divorce and the restoration of her maiden name, Ruth Ellen Moore.
