SOLDIERS HOME — Lawrence Anderson Tolley, 76, of the Indiana State Soldiers Home, died here in the hospital at 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
He came to the home here in April, 1971, from the Silver Crest Facility at New Albany. Prior to that he had resided at the Soldiers Home at Dayton, Ohio.
Mr. Tolley, a retired farmer, was born northeast of Dana. He resided for a time at Chicago and Montezuma and for several years lived at Cayuga.
In 1922 he was married at Cayuga to Beulah Moss who died in 1945. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in France and was a member of the American Legion at Cayuga.
Surviving are a son, Arthur of Cayuga, and one daughter, Mrs. Clara Mae Richard, a resident of National Nursing Home at Clinton.
