Services Planned Tuesday for Samuel Wilson Moss

Last rites for Samuel Wilson Moss 65 years old, who died at his home in Atherton Sunday morning, will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the residence of the son, William Moss, 1318 First Avenue, Terre Haute. Burial will be in the Joppa cemetery near Atherton.

He is survived by the widow, Josephine May; four sons, William and Russell of Terre Haute and Samuel and Raymond at home; six daughters, Ruth and Iva Pearl Moss at home; Mrs. Beulah Calvert of Danville, Ill., Mrs. Viola Hastings of Clinton, Mrs. Pauline Kirby of Newport and Mrs. Edna Harvey of Atherton.

Mrs. Josephine May Moss

Mrs. Josephine May Moss, 80, of 618 S. St. Joseph St., died early today in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Moss was born in Logansport on Nov. 12, 1882 and came here 20 years ago from Terre Haute. Her husband, Samuel Moss, to whom she was married in 1889, died in 1939. Surviving are three sons, Russell and Harold both of Terre Haute, and five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Moss, Raymond W. of El Paso, Tex.; of South Bend, Mrs. George Harvey of Mishawaka, Mrs. Carol Russell of Cedar Lake, Mrs. Viola Hasting of Chicago and Mrs. Harlan Kirby of Clinton, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Eula Wagner of San Antonio, Tex., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Hollis Funeral Home in Rosedale, Ind., for services. Burial will be in Jappa Cemetery, Rosedale.
