PALESTINE, November 30.—Last evening, at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. O. B. Sawyers, Mr. J. W. Norwood, of Coriscana, was united in marriage to Miss Eula N. Sawyers, Rev. Mr. Mathis officiating. There was an elegant bridal supper, after which the happy pair departed for their home, near Corsicana.

Norwood.—Palestine, Tex., Aug. 24.—Mrs. Ena Sawyers Norwood, wife of John W. Norwood, died Thursday night at the family residence after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Friday morning from the Christian Church and interment made in the East Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Norwood was a prominent citizen of this county and leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
