Delbert O'Neill

Delbert Sherwood O'Neill, 87, a former Tacoma resident, died Monday in Chehalis.

Born in Satsop, he resided in Tacoma several years before moving to Morton. He had been a Kosmos Timber Co. employee.

Mr. O'Neill was a member of the Eastern Lewis County Historical Society and a lifetime member of the Los Conquistadores in Tacoma. He was an Army veteran of World War I.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dewayne (Irene) Garlock of Tacoma and Mrs. Jim (Ruthe) Keen of Morton; a foster daughter, Mrs. Bob (Margaret) Davis of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Avis White of Oakville, Thurston County; two brothers, Eugene of Tacoma and Percy of Medford, Ore.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Brown Mortuary, Chehalis, is in charge.
