He married ESTHER LEE IRVINE on December 25, 1929 in Oklahoma,⁷³⁷⁷ daughter of GRACE LENORA SHOWALTER and FRANCIS SIMMONS IRVINE. She was born June 26, 1905,⁴⁵⁶ and died March 31, 1990.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Prague Catholic Cemetery, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.⁴⁵⁶

Irvine—Obsivac

The wedding of Miss Esther Irvine with Joseph M. Obsivac was quietly celebrated Christmas afternoon at 2 o'clock in the rectory, Rev. Kitian Herb, O. B. University from Shawnee officiating.

Attendants were the bridegroom's sister Miss Lillian Obsivac and the bride's brother George S. Irvine. Only the immediate relatives of both families were present. Immediately after the ceremony the newly married couple left for a few days in the city.
