At 8:00 yesterday evening in the presence of only the relatives and a few very intimate friends of the contracting parties, Guy Patton and Miss Audrey Frazier, both of Dighton township, were united in marriage by Rev. R. L. Sproles pastor of the Baptist church at Larned. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Frazier, four miles east of Dighton. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Patton were showered with the congratulations of the guests and then led the way to the dining room where an elegant wedding supper was served. Guy is a native of Lane county and has lived here all his life. He is an energetic, hard working young man, in spite of adverse circumstances is making substantial headway in his struggle with the world. His bride only recently came here from Rush county. She is a bright young woman whose quiet manner and unpretentious ways have won her many friends. The young people will go to house keeping on the county farm where the best wishes of a host of friends will accompany them.
