Allen W. Hills, long resident of area, dies

Former Redlands resident Allen W. Hills died yesterday at the age of 67. He had been living in Mentone for the past 22 years at 1216 Turquoise.

The Minnesota native lived at 919 College avenue while in Redlands. He worked in partnership with his cousin C. N. Hills of Mentone for many years and was a member of the Mentone Congregational church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the F. Arthur Cortner Chapel, Rev.. Vincent Wayland, pastor of Mentone Congregational church, officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Park.

Mr. Hills is survived by his wife, Eileen; one brother, Leonard Hills of Portland, Ore.; two nieces, Mrs. Vinetta Von Tungeln and Mrs. Luella Lindenberger of Redlands; a nephew, Ralph H. Nordufth of Roseville and formerly of Redlands; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
