Hattie Price
Burley—Hattie Cranney Price, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, in Superior, Mont. She was 89. Hattie was born Sept. 13, 1914, in Island, near Oakley, the oldest of three children born to Keith and Sarah Briggs Cranney. Hattie married Rulon J. Price on June 21, 1943, in Paris, Idaho. They lived in the Oakley, Burley, and the Rupert area most of their married life. Hattie was a very devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her three children, DeLoyce Tyler, Craig Price and Alice Stitzer; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rulon J. Price; a brother, Harold Cranney; a grandson, Daniel R. Tyler; and a great-granddaughter, Katelynn Tyler. The service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at the Payne Memorial Chapel, 221 W. Main St. in Burley, with Kim Cranney officiating. Burial will be in the Marion Cemetery near Oakley. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Payne Mortuary. The family suggests memorials be given to Idaho Home Health & Hospice, 418 Oneida, Rupert, ID 83350.
