Cause of Death Unknown
Cause of death of a woman found dead by police at her 250 1/2 San Jose Ave. home Monday has not yet been determined.
According to Dr. Hobart Wood of the County Coroner's office, a post-mortem autopsy has failed to turn up any significant clue in the death of Dorothy Reid, a former aid at Los Gatos Hospital. Dr. Wood added that a toxicology will be conducted.
Deputy Coroner Don Bouchette found Miss Reid's body after her mother, Mrs. Helen Reid of San Jose reported she had not seen her for several days. She is survived also by a sister, Mrs. Joyce Kromer of San Jose.
Private rites were held yesterday in the Lima-Salmon-Erickson Funeral Home, followed by inurnment in San Mateo.
