Joyce Beverly Kromer, 84
Joyce Beverly Kromer Resident of San Jose Joyce passed away on 18 Mar 2014, she was 84 years old. Daughter of John Gregson Reid and Helen Lucile Reid (Greenwalt), Joyce was born and raised in the San Jose community of Willow Glen. She graduated from Los Gatos High School in 1947 and then attended Heald College. She went on to work for the City of Los Gatos. She was a member of the Native Daughters of The Golden West and the San Jose Historical Society. Joyce deeply loved her family and friends and was always there to support and encourage them. Her passion for gardening, sewing, crafts, antiques and history could be seen throughout her home. She was always concerned for those in need and supported many charities. Joyce is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Kurt & Carol Kromer and grandchildren Gregson, Kaylynn, Candace and Cameron. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 56 years, Walter and her son Karl. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 6th at 2:00 PM at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara.
