LUCAS COUNTY'S RECORDER DIES

Burdge Richardson, county recorder, died at 5 o'clock on Saturday afternoon in his summer home on the bay shore.

An operation 15 months ago gave only temporary relief.

Mr. Richardson was elected recorder on the Democratic ticke two years ago and took office last December.

Burdge Richardson was born in Toledo in 1869. He was a traveling salesman for R. H. Lane & Co. for 25 years. The widow, a son and daughter, Ralph and Mracella; a brother, Judd, and his father, Ira A., survive. Services will be in the home, 101 Melrose ave. on Tuesday at 2:30. Burial will be in Woodlawn.
