B. H. RITTS FUNERAL SET

The funeral of Benjamin H. Ritts will be held at the O'Brien-Rogers chapel tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock and will be under the direction of Reno lodge No. 13, F.&A.M. Burial will be in the Mountain View cemetery.

Mr. Ritts, who was local agent for the Southern Pacific Company at Golconda, died at the company hospital in San Francisco last Wednesday. Aged fifty-two years, he was a native of Aspen, Colo., and had been employed as a railroader for twenty-eight years.

He was a railroad telegrapher most of that time, and served as a wireless telegrapher in the United States army during the world war.

He had been at Golconda for a number of years and had been ill for several months. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Ritts, his father, nelson Ritts of Golconda and a sister, Mrs. Josephine M. Day of Reno. He was a member of Winnemucca lodge of Masons the Royal Arch Masons, the Eastern Star and the Order of Railroad Telegraphers.

WINNEMUCCA — Esther B. Ritts, a 70-year resident of Winnemucca, died Tuesday in a Winnemucca hospital at the age of 94.

She was born Nov. 3, 1888, in Richmond, Utah.

She had been employed as a registered nurse of Humboldt General Hospital for 30 years. Following retirement, she continued nursing.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a 50-year member of O.E.S.

Surviving are sons, Ray Jones of Winnemucca and George Jones of Ogden, Utah; daughter, Florence Murphy of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the LDS Church, Winnemucca.

Burial will be in the Winnemucca Cemetery.

A memorial is being established with the Erma Jones Memorial Fund, c/o Child Haven Campus, 3401 E. Bonanza, Las Vegas, 89101.
