She married NELSON L. RITTS on February 4, 1885 in Independence, Montgomery, Kansas.4694 He was born March 23, 1858 in St. Petersburg, Clarion, Pennsylvania,9098 and died October 7, 1952 in Winnemucca, Humboldt, Nevada.9098 He is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Reno, Washoe, Nevada.456

Resident of Golconda Is Taken By Death

Mrs. Mary Virginia Ritts of Golconda died yesterday, according to word received by the O'Brien mortuary from Winnemucca. She had resided in Nevada several years.

The remains will be brought to Reno today for services. She leaves two sons, Nelson Ritts and Benjamin Ritts; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Day and Mrs. George Bischoff of Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Dunmire and Mrs. Ida Vail of Los Angeles, and two brothers, Frank Shriver of Golconda and Harry Shriver of Los Angeles.

The O'Brien mortuary will announce funeral plans.

Nelson L. Ritts Funeral Planned

Last rites for Nelson L. Ritts, who died in Winnemucca, will be conducted here tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the O'Brien Rogers Chapel, with the Rev. Rafe Martin of St. John's Presbyterian Church officiating.

Born in St. Petersburg, Pa., March 23, 1858, Mr. Ritts came to make his home in Nevada in 1901, settling in Mina for the first year and then moving to Golconda where he had lived since that time. When he first came west he worked at mining. Later he operated a service station until his retirement some years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Bischoff of Nebraska City, Neb., and Mrs. Josephine Day of Reno, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Shriver of Ambridge, Pa. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
