He married MARY ELLA BOGUE on December 24, 1937 in Henry County, Indiana,¹⁶⁷⁵ daughter of NETTIE OLIVE SHEFFER and REUBEN MADISON BOGUE. She was born May 17, 1917 in New Castle, Henry, Indiana,^{1186, 4917} and died April 6, 1968 in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.^{1891, 4931} She is buried in South Mound Cemetery, New Castle, Henry, Indiana.⁴⁹³¹
