She was born June 3, 1908 in New Castle, Henry, Indiana,^{1675, 4917} and died January 31, 1987 in Woodland Community Hospital, Montgomery County, Texas.^{909, 105} She is buried in Earlham Cemetery, Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.⁹⁰⁹

Pauline Roach

Pauline Roach, 79, 4407 South Panther Creek, Woodland, Texas, former Richmond resident, died Saturday in Woodland Community Hospital after a short illness.

She was a native of New Castle and had lived in Richmond most of her life. She moved to California in 1976 and then moved to Texas about 2 1/2 years ago. She was a telephone operator and worked at the Palladium-Item about 10 years. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Richmond, and a member of the Williamsburg Order of Eastern Star. She also was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Her husband, Charles Howard Roach, died in 1971.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Hill of Magnolia, Texas, and Susan McClain of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Verle Bogue of Pebble Beach, Calif.; one sister, Maxine Luellen of New Castle. One son, Charles Robert, is deceased.

A memorial service for Pauline Roach was Monday at Klien Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas. A graveside service will he held at Earlham Cemetery.
