Mrs. Robertson is a graduate of Ashland high school with the class of 1948. Mr. Robertson graduated from Eagle high school with the class of 1942.

The young couple will make their home in Murdock.

Robertson — Burke A., 76, Ashland, died Wednesday (10/31/01) in Papillion. Born, Alvo. Graduate, Eagle High School. Retired auto mechanic, Lincoln, Omaha and Ashland. Owner and operator, former Robertson Auto, Ashland. Enjoyed building race cars. Member and former deacon, trustee and chairman of the board, First Christian Church, Ashland.

Survivors: wife, Beth; son, daughter-in-law, Jim and Diana Robertson, Memphis; daughters, sons-in-law, Charlotte and "Kelly" Starkey, Lincoln, Merrie and Leon Hansen, Garden Plain, Kan.; sister, Mary Alice Lindell, Douglas; sister-in-law, Naida Robertson, Alvo; nine grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers; two sisters.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday, First Christian Church, Ashland. The Rev. Roy Paterik. Ashland Cemetery. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Marcy Mortuary, Ashland, and one hour before services, church. Memorials to the church.

ASHLAND - Beth L. Robertson, 88, of Ashland, entered into rest on Dec. 8, 2019 at Oxbow Living Center in Ashland. She was born Dec. 12, 1930 in Ashland to Adelbert and Mary (Doggett) Stanley. Beth graduated from Ashland High School in 1948. On May 26, 1948, she was married to Burke Robertson in Lincoln. Beth and her husband Burke owned and operated Robertson Auto for many years. Beth was the bookkeeper and the parts runner. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Ashland. She is survived by daughters, Merrie (Leon) Hansen and Charlotte (Kelly) Starkey; grandchildren, Matthew Starkey, Scott Robertson, Michael Starkey, Bill (Kelly) Robertson, Kristina (Caleb) Whisenhunt, Daniel Hansen, Tony (Laurie) Robertson, Keith (Lisa) Hansen and T.J. Robertson; 10 great-grandchildren; cousins, Del (Grace) Starns, Doris Johnson, Linda Luhr and Bill Scott and family friend, Kathy Robertson. She was preceded in death by husband, Burke Robertson; son, Jim Robertson and parents, Adelbert and Mary Stanley. A funeral service was held Dec. 13 at First Christian Church. Pastor Bob Schofield officiated. She was interred at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland.
