Anita Kitchen Ford Mason, 82, of Longboat Key, Florida, formerly of Cartersville, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999.

Mrs. Mason was born June 9, 1917 in Bartow County, a daughter of the late Baxter Rollings and Kathleen Rodgers Doeschner Rollings.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cartersville and a retired legal secretary for the law firm of Greene and Greene.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis Kitchen, Al Ford, and Bob Mason, she is survived by one son, Lewis D. Kitchen of Waleska, one grandson, Gordon Kitchen of Ooletwah, Tennessee, two granddaughters, Denise Burris of Fayetteville, NC and Diahan Reed of Mountville, one great-grandchild, Phillip Burris Jr. and one stepson, John Ford of Indian Wells, California.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Julia Wylie of the Faith Presbyterian Church in Canton officiating.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday until the funeral hour.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
