She married (2) PAUL ROBERTS MCCUTCHEON on November 4, 1955 in Manatee County, Florida.280, 12034 He was born October 19, 1926 in Saint Petersburg, Hillsborough, Florida,7991 and died October 21, 2012.7991

Miss Rowland Becomes Bride Of Lt. Fassler

Miss Patricia Ann Rowland, daughter of Mrs. Pauline Rowland, Pittsburg, Pa., and Redington Beach, became the bride of Lt. Robert J. Fassler, son of J. G. Fassler and the late Mrs. Fassler, Rome, N. Y. at a ceremony held at 5 o'clock Friday afternoon in the rectory of St. Paul's cathedral, Pittsburgh, with the Rev. O'Rourke officiating.

Attendants were Miss Dorothy Maxon, Pittsburgh, maid of honor, and Capt. Philip Mahone, Meadville, Pa., best man.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Dr. Paul H. Franklin, and wore a dress of shell-pink crepe made a V neckline, draped sleeves and skirt. Her hat and accessories were of black satin and she wore a corsage of sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley.

The maid of honor wore a dress of Alice blue crepe with sweetheart neckline, draped bodice and fitted skirt. Her accessories were brown and her corsage was of gardenias.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's grandfather, with her aunt, Mrs. Clifford Franklin, Mrs. Mary Carney and the Misses Teressa McConnell and Marie Floyd assisting.

Mrs. Rowland, mother of the bride, received in a suit of plum colored crepe. Her accessories were black and her corsage was of pink camellias and violets.

After a wedding trip to Lake Erie at Geneva, O., the couple will be at home at Rome, N. Y.

Mrs. Fassler is a graduate of St. Petersburg high school. She is a member of the Army and Navy Affiliates and is a granddaughter of T. W. Rowland, Redington Beach.

Lt. Fassler attended St. Aloysius academy and was stationed at MacDill Field after returning from the European Theatre of Operations. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, an ETO ribbon with three battle stars. He will be connected with the Revere Iron and Copper corporation.

Patricia Fassler Is Bride Of Paul McCutcheon Jr.

Announcement is being made of the marriage of Mrs. Patricia Rowland Fassler to Paul Roberts McCutcheon Jr. at 11 a.m., Nov. 4, in the Pasadena Community Church. The couple was married by the Rev. Dr. J. Wallace Hamilton in the presence of members of their immediate families.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. T. W. Rowland, Royal Palm Hotel. The bridegroom is the son of Paul Roberts McCutcheon, 2822 Second Avenue North, and the late Mrs. Jessie Mather McCutcheon.

Mrs. Gordon Gilbert was matron of honor. Paul R. McCutcheon served his son as best man.

The couple will be at home after Dec. 5 at 6721 Date Palm Avenue South.

The bride attended local schools and is a graduate of St. Petersburg High School.

The bridegroom, a graduate of Florida Military Academy, attended the University of Florida where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He is a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.

Rome Officer On Lost Plane

WASHINGTON (AP)—The Defense Department has identified Capt. Robert J. Fassler of Rome, N.Y., as among the 21 Air Force personnel aboard a C47 missing since Sunday. The plane was en route to Manston, England, from Rome, Italy.

Capt. Fassler is the son of Jacob G. Fassler, 404 North James St., Rome. His wife is overseas.

Patricia McCutcheon

Patricia Ann McCutcheon (Rowland) passed away on February 26, 2016. She was a native of St. Petersburg, Florida born on November 23, 1924, at Faith Hospital, now known as St. Anthony’s Hospital. Patricia was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School class of 1942, and attended Bixby Business School. She married Robert Fassler in 1945. He was an officer in the Army and a Bomber Pilot on loan to the RAF during WWII. Together they traveled the world, Guam, Japan, France, Germany, and England, where she attended the coronation of Queen Elizabeth.

Sadly this chapter of her life ended abruptly with the death of her husband. Patricia returned home to Redington Beach, with their two children, where she met and married Paul R. McCutcheon Jr. in 1955. Patricia and Paul combined their love of the outdoors with business, to own and operate McCutcheon’s Nurseries Inc. until 1973.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Paul R. McCutcheon Jr.; her son, Paul R. McCutcheon III; and grandson, Brian Knox McCutcheon. Patricia is survived by her three sons, Robert (Pat), Thomas R. (Virginia), and Andrew McCutcheon; daughter, Nan McCutcheon; eight grandsons; and 10 great-grandchildren.
