Dr. and Mrs. Paul Hutchins Franklin of South Evaline street announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Pauline Cooper Franklin, and Maxwell W. Rowland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thaddeus Wilman Rowland of Geneva, O. The wedding took place last Saturday at Madison-on-the-Lake, Madison, O. After and Eastern trip, Mr. and Mrs. Rowland will live in Cleveland.

Rowland: Max Whitman, age 30, of Madison, O., beloved husband of Pauline (nee Franklin), father of Patricia Anne and Tad, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Rowland, brother of Mrs. Dorothy Davis of St. Petersburg, Fla., grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thad H. Rowland of Oberlin, O., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15. Remains at Behm's Funeral Parlors, Madison, O. Funeral at Episcopal Church, Geneva, Saturday at 2:30 p. m. Burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.

ROWLAND, PAULINE F., 92, of St. Petersburg, died Friday (May 31, 1996) at Arbors at St. Petersburg. She came here most recently in 1969 from her native Pittsburgh. In the 1920s, she owned and raced greyhounds in St. Petersburg with her late husband, Max Rowland, then worked for the city of Pittsburgh's treasurer's office for 35 years. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia R. McCutcheon, Seminole; a brother, Paul H. Franklin, Beaverton, Ore.; three sisters, Cornelia Donahue, Jacksonville, Kathryn Lew, St. Petersburg, and Patricia McGuire, Harpers Ferry, W. Va.; and four grandchildren. Abbey Parklawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, Palm Harbor.
