She married (1) LAWRENCE EDGAR LEWIS on November 26, 1910 in Red Cloud, Webster, Nebraska,2284 son of PHEBE MARILLA STORY and CHARLEY LINCOLN LEWIS. He was born December 29, 1887 in Red Cloud, Webster, Nebraska,8 and died May 31, 1963 in Hastings, Adams, Nebraska.8769

She married (2) FRANKLIN JAMES DAY on July 18, 1937 in Manitou Springs, El Paso, Colorado.11706 He was born June 18, 1886 in Ellston, Ringgold, Iowa,11645 and died in July, 1969.56 He is buried in Hampden Memorial Estates, Denver, Denver, Colorado.456

A Wedding In The Cave Of The Winds

A wedding that will be of interest to many here was that of Mrs. Eva Lewis and Frank Day, at Manitou Springs, Colorado. The following was taken from a newspaper published at that place:

"Mrs. Eva Lewis of Denver, sister of Mrs. Archie Boyce of this place, and Frank Day, also of Denver, were married Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Bridal Chamber of the Cave of the Winds, July 18. They have the distinction of being the twenty-seventh couple to be married in the Cave. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Boyce and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Day, son of the groom. Rev. John Jorden of the Fountain Methodist church, performed the ceremony. A wedding dinner given by the bride's relatives, preceded the ceremony.

MRS. EVA G. DAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva G. Day, 1341 Ironton St., Aurora, Colo., were held at 12:30 P. M. Monday in the Howard Mortuary. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery.

Mrs. Day died Thursday in her home following a long illness. She was 48 years of age.

Born January 10, 1892, in Talmage, Neb., Mrs. Day came to Denver five years ago.

She moved to Aurora in 1938 with her husband, Frank J. Day.

Mrs. Day was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are her husband,a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Hull, of Superior, Neb.; her father, John S. Rupard, both of Union City, Ky.; and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Boyce of Fountain, Colo.

Lawrence E. Lewis Dies Unexpectedly

Lawrence E. Lewis, 75, a resident of Hastings for 12 years died unexpectedly here Friday. He had lived the majority of his life in Webster county and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife Alma and a daughter Mrs. Clarence Hull of Chadron. Services are pending with the Simonson Funeral Home of Red Cloud.
