Mrs. J. S. Rupard, formerly of Talmage, died at her home at Alexander, Kan., Saturday, [Novem]ber 6th, after an illness of several months duration, being afflicted with cancer of the breast. The body was shipped to Talmage for burial, arriving here Tuesday morning. The funeral was held at the methodist church Tuesday afternoon and interment was made at Grant cemetery, Rev. Basset, of Brock preaching the funeral sermon.—Talmage Tribune

Sherman Rupard

RICHMOND, Ky., Jan. 2 (Special)—Sherman Rupard, 79, Union City farmer, died at 12:10 yesterday morning at the Pattie A. Clay Infirmary after a brief illness of pneumonia.

He is a native of the county and a member of the Union City Baptist church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mossie Tribble Rupard; two sons, Neville Franklin Rupard, Union City; Willie Rupard, Lexington; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Boyce, Colorado; three ste children, Miss Rachel Tribble, Athens, Fayette county; Mrs. Owen Babb, Union City; George Tribble, College Hill.

Funeral services will be held at the Union City Baptist church Sunday. Burial will be in the family cemetery, near Union City.
