Tulelake To Be Home Of Newlywed Couple

In a lovely ceremony at Trinity Presbyterian Church, West Sacramento, on March 3, Betty Lou Gregory and Norman Frank Ryckman were united in marriage. The Rev. George F. Telle performed the 4 o'clock double ring ceremony.

Following their honeymoon, the newlyweds are residing at Tulelake on the Ryckman Homestead.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Henry Clark. She wore a blue street length gown with fitted lace bodice and silk organza skirt ending in a Watteau back sash. A blue float veil held by a velvet bow, blue three quarter length gloves and slippers completed the bride's costume. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations with a white orchid center. A good luck token was the Chinese silk handkerchief the bride carried. Purchased in 1915 at the World's Fair, it was carried by Mrs. Albert Ryckman at her wedding, 1 years ago.

Matron of honor, Mrs. Harry S. Vail of Fair Oaks, wore a maize street length frock with fitted bodice, cap sleeves and full skirt. With it she wore a matching short veil, yellow gloves and slippers. Orchid carnations were her flowers.

The bride's mother, Mrs. David C. Poole, chose for the occasion a yellow silk brocade two piece dress with matching gloves and hat. She wore a corsage of yellow carnations and white rosebuds.

Mrs. Albert Ryckman, the bridegroom's mother, wore French blue silk shantung two piece dress, black patent shoes, white gloves and pink hat. Her corsage was of pink carnations with white rosebuds.

Best man was Lloyd Jensen of Los Banos. Ushers were Marvin H. Thomas of Tulelake and Dick Moore of San Francisco.

The church patio room was decorated with flowers, predominately blue, and blue tapers for the reception. The women of the church served refreshments from the lace covered table, highlight of which was the tiered wedding cake.

Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Herb Beckner, Tiburon, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Clark J. Dickinson, Ocean Park, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gray Clark, Paradise; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Moyer, Sunnyvale; Mr. and Mrs. Steven Vonder Houwen, San Jose; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carsners and family, Los Gatos; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Compau, Keego Harbor, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. E.
