EXCHANGE VOWS AT PASTOR'S HOME

MRS. ESTHER DURHAM BECOMES BRIDE OF DAVID H. SAWYER AT NOON FRIDAY

Mrs. Esther Durham, popular young lady of Escondido, became the bride of David H. Sawyer, state highway department engineer here, Friday at 12 o'clock, noon, at the home of Rev. Arthur E. Schultz. Relatives and friends attended the quiet ceremony.

The bride appeared lovely in a gown of Eleanor blue, with a beautiful corsage of pink rose buds. Completing the ensemble were hoes, a hat and bag of gray.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Walk of Escondido. Mr. Sawyer's parents reside in Oregon. They were attended by Mrs. Luella Falconer and Miss Jessamine Walk, the latter a sister of the bride.

The couple plan a week-end honeymoon trip to Los Angeles. They will return to make their home just north of the Escondido city limits.

Best wishes of their many friends go to the happy couple.
