Funeral Services for Mrs. Sawyer

Mrs. Laura J. Sawyer, 51, of Calabasas, passed away Friday at the Valley hospital following a major operation. Funeral arrangements have been made by the Van Nuys Funeral Parlors and services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Inglewood cemetery chapel followed by internment in the cemetery there.

Mrs. Sawyer is survived by her husband, Clinton J. Sawyer; Mrs. Mary Burke a sister of Los Angeles and John Millett, her brother of Canoga Park.

Death Summons Road Foreman at Calabasas Camp

Clinton J. Sawyer, aged 55, foreman of the Vejal Road Camp at Calabasas, died yesterday at his home near Calabasas, following a brief illness.

Mr. Sawyer is survived by one son, Kenneth Sawyer of Los Angeles, two sisters and two brothers who reside in Washington; Leslie Sawyer of Grand View, George Sawyer of Paseo, Mrs. Emma Chapman of Randall, Mrs. Lee Alexander of Sunnyside.

Funeral arrangements, which will be in charge of the Van Nuys Funeral Parlors, have not been completed.
