Funeral services for Burnett Donald Visger, 61, of 233 E. Elmwood, will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. J. Albert Trickett, associate pastor of Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
He died at 6 p.m. Thursday at Schumpert Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Visger was born in Pickering and had been a Shreveport resident for 26 years. He was a member of Noel Memorial United Methodist Church and was retired from the Pennzoil United, Inc. purchasing deparment.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carrie Visger; one daughter, Mrs. Gary Fontenot of Lake Charles; one brother, Buster Visger of Houston, and four grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Randall Richardson, Calvin Kitchens, W. D. Haworth, L. T. Cohen, John J. Carter and A. E. Blizzard.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary S. Davidson will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday March 24 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Warren Blakeman, of Broadmoor Methodist Church, where Mrs. Davidson was a member, will officiate. Interment will be at Centuries Memorial Park.
Mrs. Davidson entered into rest Friday morning March 23, 1984, at Schumpert Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1907 in Palestine, Texas and had lived in the Shreveport area for the past 18 years.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by her husband, Harry Carson Davidson of Shreveport; two daughters, Mollie Weldon of Shreveport and Lillian Frensley of Lake Charles, La.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
