William Clement Scott, Jr. built this house and the family lived in it over 40 years. It was sold to Mr. Ed Kuhl who lived in it a number of years, later tearing it down and building a modern house on the site. William Clement Scott Sr. set out the hard maple trees, the only ones in the town at the time and the grape vines. The grape arbor was on the other side of the house and cannot be seen in this pciture.
