Mrs. C. V. Sexton, wife of Dr. C. V. Sexton of Falun and daughter of R. E. Beaty, carrier on a rural route of Salina, died this morning at her home in Falun. Mrs. Sexton was 49 years old, and besides her husband, leaves an adopted child. The funeral will be held at the First Methodist church of Salina next SUnday at 2 o'clock. Rev. Woods will officiate. Interment will be made in Gypsum Hill cemetery.
Mes. Sexton had recently returned from Kansas City where she had been treated for cancer of the stomach.

This morning at 6 o'clock Mrs. C. V. Sexton died after a long illness extending over a period of four months during which time she had been a patient sufferer.
Mrs. Sexton was born at Warren, Indiana Aug 3, 1866, and lived at different places over that state. She to Kansas in 1887 with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Beaty. Her father was at that time a Methodist minister and held several charges at different places over the state. In 1898 she was united in marriage to Dr. Sexton at Hollywood, Kan. They moved to Falun January 1904 at which place they have since made their home. She leaves a father, husband and adopted son, Charles, and a brother at Warren, Indiana, besides several other relatives, and a host of friends.
Mrs. Sexton was a member of the Methodist church and was a woman who practiced her religion in every day life. She was always ready to help when it was needed. She will be sadly missed by all.

BRODERICK (Yolo Co.), May 25.—Efforts are being made her to locate relatives of Charles V. Sexton, 75, who was found dead in his cabin here late Saturday afternoon. Coroner W. C. McNary believes Sexton was a victim of a heart attack. The body was found by a neighbor.
Sexton at one time worked for the Washington Drug Company. He is believed to have a daughter, residing in Oregon. Sexton was a native of Illinois.

Masonic funeral services for Charles Victor Sexton, 75-year-old Yolo county druggist who was found dead in his Broderick cabin Saturday night, were held Wednesday morning at the McNary Funeral Home with Rev. J. J. Evans of the First Christian church officiating.
Two sisters, Mrs. Mary D. Williams of Glide, Oregon, and Mrs. Jessie Jordan of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, have been located.
Burial was in the Woodland cemetery.
