Mary Sayles and William Smith

MAJOR WILLIAM SMITH, son of SARAH WHIPPLE and JOHN SMITH, was born in 1682 in Providence, Rhode Island, and died December 11, 1753 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island.

He married MARY SAYLES, daughter of ELIZABETH and JOHN SAYLES. She was born May 30, 1689, and died in December, 1754.
