OLIVER SPENCER
Oliver Spencer, 78 years old, died Sunday evening at the home of his son, Harry, near Bethel, after a lingering illness. He was the son of John and Mary Spencer and was born in Darke county near New Madison.
Survivors include the widow, Ada; one son, Harry; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Pettyjohn; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Young, of Greenville; Mrs. Nervia Pattee of Decatur, Ill., and Mrs. Letta Clapp of Fort Wayne; one brother, Charles, of Fountain City, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. (c. s. t.) at the Hollansburg Christian church in charge of Rev. Earl Lantz. Burial will be in Hollansburg cemetery. Friends may call at the home of the son any time.

Mrs. Ada R. Spencer
NEW PARIS, Ohio. — Mrs. Ada R. Spencer, 81 years old, of New Paris, widow of Oliver Spencer, died Wednesday evening. She was a member of the New Paris Presbyterian church and the Eastern Star lodge.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mae Black of Warsaw, Ind., a niece and a nephew.
