He married LUCINDA JANE EVANS on July 22, 1950 in Piqua, Miami, Ohio.³⁰⁶⁹ She was born September 1, 1927,⁴⁵⁶ and died September 4, 1983.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Miami, Ohio.⁴⁵⁶

Clifford Stambaugh

Clifford Donald Stambaugh, 51, of 320 Young, died Wednesday at 6:08 p.m. in University Hospital, Columbus, after an illness of three weeks. He was born in Troy, June 23, 1924, to the late Homer E. and Florence Crowell Stambaugh and had lived in Piqua 28 years. He was married to Lucinda Evans in Piqua, July 22, 1950.

A member of the First United Church of Christ, he also belonged to the Redman's Lodge of Troy and the Moose Lodge of Piqua. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was employed by Miami Industries.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald Lee, Kitt Clifford, and Barry Joe, all of Piqua; one granddaughter, Amy; four brothers, Forest Warner of Troy, Orville Stambaugh of Arizona, William Stambaugh of Troy, and Norbert Stambaugh of Piqua; two sisters, Mrs. Douglas Stout (Dolores) of Springfield and Mrs. Don Ullery (Bernice) of Troy. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Jamieson Funeral Home by the Rev. John Virgint. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
