ELSIE MARIE STAMBAUGH, daughter of MARTHA LILLIE SHOVER and NILES WHARTON STAMBAUGH, was born February 16, 1923 in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland, Pennsylvania,³⁹⁸⁵ and died May 22, 1957 in West Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania.³⁹⁸⁵ She is buried in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.⁴⁵⁶

Elsie M. Stambaugh

MECHANICSBURG—Miss Elsie M. Stambaugh, 34, formerly a resident here, died yesterday in a Reading hospital.

The daughter of Niles W. and Lillie M. Shover Stambaugh, formerly of Mechanicsburg, she lived in Mechanicsburg for 21 years.

Miss Stambaugh was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Shillington.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Wilbur R. of Sinking Springs, Paul E. of Trenton, N.J., and Richard L., of Philadelphia.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home, 37 E. Main St., with the Rev. Victor Kroninger, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 1 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, from 7 to 9 tomorrow evening and at the funeral home in Mechanicsburg Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
