aul E. Stambaugh, 95, of East Windsor, formerly of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Penn Medicine in Plainsboro. Born and raised in Mechanicsburg, PA, Paul was a longtime resident of Hamilton, NJ before settling at Meadow Lakes in East Windsor a few years ago. He honorably served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII from 1943-1946. He went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Rider College in Trenton, NJ and was employed as a U.S. Government Audit for the Defense Contract Audit Agency for 26 years also obtaining his CPA during that time. He enjoyed music and singing, traveling and attending theater productions with his wife, Ethel, sports, wood working and reading and will be remembered for his wonderful deep bass singing voice, kind heart and sense of humor. Predeceased by his parents, Niles and Lillie (Shover) Stambaugh; his 3 brothers and a sister; and his beloved wife, Ethel (Haas) Stambaugh; he is survived by his loving children, Jill Boyer and husband, Dean, and Jeffrey Stambaugh and wife, Alexis; his cherished grandchildren, Travis, Ashley, Kelly, Cody, Zachary, Tiffany and Jenny; and his 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 4315 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ 08690. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville. Due to funeral restrictions, the staff of Saul Colonial Home, respectfully request that all funeral attendees please wear a face covering during the services for Paul. We appreciate your cooperation and thank you. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
