George W. Stambaugh
George W. Stambaugh, a retired farmer, died this morning at 5 o'clock at the home of his son, M. J. Stambaugh, Jackson township, Spring Grove R. D. 1. The deceased was 76 years old and death resulted from a complication of diseases after a lingering illness.
Besides his son, with whom he resided, the deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Martin, Spring Grove, R. D. 1, and Mrs. D. A. Lillich, Spring Grove, R. D. 3; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
The deceased was a life-long member of the Reformed congregation of Wolf's church. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with short services at the home and concluding services at Wolf's church, Rev. E. V. Strasbaugh, pastor of the Reformed church, assisted by Rev. Samuel F. Stauffer will officiate. Interment will be in Wolf's cemetery.
