PETER STAMBAUGH
Peter Stambaugh, a retired farmer, died Sunday morning at 3:10 o'clock at the home of his niece, Mrs. David Lillich, Jackson township, Spring Grove R. D. 1. Death followed an illness of a week from erysipelas. He was aged 74 years. Mr. Stambaugh had lived for a number of years in Hanover. Mr. Stambaugh was a son of the late Harry and Sarah Rohrbaugh Stambaugh, and was born January 23, 1863. He was twice married. His first wife before marriage was Jane Naylor, and his second wife Annie Arndt. Both preceded him in death. Surviving are two brothers, George W. Stambaugh, Spring Grove R. D. 2, and Samuel Stambaugh, Thomasville R. D. 1. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning with services conducted at 9:30 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Lillich, with whom he had resided. Further services will be conducted in Wolf's church. The Rev. E. V. Stausbaugh and the Rev. T. H. Ressler will officiate. Burial will be made in Wolf's church cemetery.
