Mack T. Stambaugh

Mack T. Stambaugh, 65, of 1075 Harrisburg Pike, Middlesex Township, died Tuesday at his home.

He was born Nov. 3, 1909 in Perry County, a son of Norman F. Stambaugh, Homewood Retirement Center, Carlisle, and the late Mrs. Annie McMillen Stambaugh, and was married to the late Dorothy Elizabeth Gates Stambaugh.

He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and had formerly operated Stambaugh's Dairy in Carlisle along with his father and brother, Harold. He was a graduate of Carlisle High School and had attended Pennsylvania State University. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church; Cumberland Star Lodge 197 F&AM; St. John's Royal Arch Chapter 171; St. Johns Commandery 8, Knights Templar; Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest 43, Harrisburg. A past president of Middlesex Township PTA, he was alos a past president of Carlisle Fish & Game Assn.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Robert E. Stambaugh, 19 Carlton Ave.; and Roger G. Stambaugh, RD1; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Lois) Kelley, RD1; and Mrs. Harry (Joan) Sheriff, RD1 Boilign Springs; a brother, Harold R. Stambaugh, 696 W. Penn St.; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Jane) Kepner, 1910 Spring Rd.; and Mrs. William (Janet) Strobel, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road, at Belvedere St. The Rev. James J. Ferguson, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens. Friends may call THursday evening at the funeral home.
