Mrs. Norman F. Stambaugh

Mrs. Annie E. Stambaugh, 64, wife of Norman F. Stambaugh, Carlisle, R. D. 1, died at 7:30 this morning at her home after a lingering illness.

She was the daughter of the late Albun and Martha Jane Milligan McMillen. An active member of the Second Presbyterian Church she was a teacher in the Beginners Department, a member of the Women's Missionary Society and the Westminster Sunday School Class.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mack T. Stambuagh, Carlisle, R. D. 1, and harold R. Stambuahg, Carlisle; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kepner, Carlisle, and Mrs. Robert Nickel, Carlisle, R. D. 2; three brothers, Rev. Dr. Homer G. McMillen, Columbus, Ohio, and Byard I. and Preston A. McMillen, Loysville; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Stambaugh, Carlilse, R. D. 1, and Mrs. Ralph G. Veaver, Millerstown, and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 in the J. R. Shulenberger Funeral Home with burial in Westminster Cemetery. Rev. Charles R. Davis will officiate. Friends may call Friday night at the funeral home.

Norman F. Stambaugh

Norman F. Stambaugh, 97, a resident of Thornwald Home, formerly of Carlisle, died Tuesday in the home.

Born in Jackson Township, Perry County, he was the son of the late Alfred E. and Jennie F. Rhea Stambaugh and the widower of Annie E. McMillen Stambaugh.

He was a retired farmer and a partner in Stambaugh's Dairy. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and Sunday School.

Survivng are one son, Harold R. Stambaugh, Carlisle; one daughter, Janet Stroble, Webster, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren and a number of great great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. James J. Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemtery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
