Ray D. Stambaugh

WRIGHTSVILLE — Ray D. Stambaugh, 60, of Wrightsville RD 1, died Tuesday evening at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Hetrick) Stambaugh.

The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 902 Mount Rose Ave., York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 488 W. Market St., York, 17404.

Mr. Stambaugh was born in Dover. He was the son of the late Willis and Minnie (Zeigler) Stambaugh.

He had worked 17 years as an electrician for Maple Press Co. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.

Mr. Stambaugh also is survived by two daughters, Teresa M. Stambaugh, at home, and Linda Jackson, Seven Valleys; two sons, Ray D. Stambaugh Jr. and Robert J. Stambaugh, both of Manchester; six grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence E. Stambaugh, Manchester, and Harold R. Stambaugh, Hatboro; and four sisters, Pauline Moul, Dorothy Bupp and Evelyn Paules, all of York, and Mildred Pitkus, Magnolia N.J.

The Rev. Thomas L. White, pastor of Madison Avenue Church of the Brethren, will officiate.
