ROY LAVERNE STAMBAUGH, son of CHLOIA ADDIE MINOR and GEORGE WASHINGTON STAMBAUGH, was born June 29, 1919 in Fairmount, Grant, Indiana,⁷³⁷⁷ and died April 26, 1950 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana.¹¹⁹¹¹ He is buried in Alexandria National Cemetery, Pineville, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.⁴⁵⁶

STAMBAUGH — Roy L. Stambaugh, 30, of Pineville,died sometime this morning, April 26, 1950. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frankie Stambaugh of Pineville, one son, Roy L. Stambaugh, Jr., of Pineville, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stambaugh of Kokomo, Ind., and several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 27. Rev. Lewis King of the First Church of the Nazarene will officiate. THe time has not been set. Interment will be in the National cemetery.
