He married EVA KENNEY SHERMAN. She was born October 8, 1894 in Huntingburg, Dubois, Indiana,¹³⁰⁷⁹ and died November 17, 1980 in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas.¹³⁰⁷⁹ She is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas.⁴⁵⁶

Paul Stanley Dies at 68; Rites Pending

Paul William Stanley, 68, 922 Jewell, died Monday in a Topeka hospital.

He was born March 7, 1897. He was a retired carpenter. He has worked for several major contractors in Topeka.

He was a member of First Congregational Church, Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, York Rite, and was a life member of Scottish Rite bodies. He was a member of the Arab Shrine, Helena Chapter No. 210 of Order of Eastern Star and the Toltec Rite.

His wife, Mrs. Eva K. Stanley, of the home, survives.

Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Eva K. Stanley

Mrs. Eva K. Stanley, 86, 922 Jewell, died Monday at a Topeka hospital after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 8, 1894, at Huntingburg, Ind., the daughter of Henry and Emma Kenny Sherman.

Mrs. Stanley was a member of Helena Chapter No. 210 of the Order of Easter Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 7, and Council No. 1 Ancient Toltec Rite, past president of Social Order of Beauceant, past noble grand of Rebekah Lodge No. 95, and a member of the Young Women's Christian Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.

She married Paul Stanley who died in 1965.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Stanley will lie in state after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1754, Topeka, 66601, or Knights Templar Eye Foundation, 214 W. 14th, Topeka.
