MRS. MYRTLE STEVENS

Hannibal, Mo., May 18.—Mrs. Myrtle Stephens, 93, formerly of 1702 Gordon, died Monday in the home of a sister, Mrs. Oral (Alma) Kerns, in Albuquerque, N. M.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 in the Schwartz funeral home in charge of the Rev. D. L. Turnbaugh. Burial will be in Hope cemetery.

Mrs. Stevens was born in Attica, Ind., Sept. 12, 1892, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Demetries Lower. She was a member of the Free Methodist church. She was married to John H. Stephens, Aug. 6, 1899. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Alvin of Rolla and Clarence of St. Joseph, the daughter, two sisters, Mrs. Maude Cochran of St. Louis and Mrs. Ruth Totsch of Foley, Ala., two brothers, Clyde of Riverside, Cal., and Blain of Palm Springs, Cal.; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
