WILLIAM H. TENNIS
Word has been received here of the death of William H. Tennis, age 88, former resident of this city, which occured Sunday morning at the home of his son, Alva Tennis, at Marion, Ohio. Mr. Tennis was a veteran railroad man, being retired on a pension at the age of 70. He was employed by the Erie railroad for many years. Beside the son he leaves a sister Mrs. Mary E. Dempsey, of this city, and a brother, Oliver C. Tennis of Chicago. Funeral plans have not been made but it is expected that burial will be in Earlham cemetery.
