IN MEMORIAM

"Passing out of the shadow

Into eternal day;

Why do we call it dying,

This sweet going away?"

Again we mourn the loss of one whom we loved and whom we will miss until we too, shall have passed through "the valley of the shadow," and again meet in joyful reunion in that spiritual building that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Miss Lena B. Thayer passed away on Thursday evening, July 27th, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles Deeter, in Indianapolis, after a lingering illness of several months, which she bore with remarkable patience and fortitude to the end.

Through confession of faith she was admitted into membership in the Presbyterian church a few months ago—and abiding in the Savior's love awaited patiently the summons.

She leaves surviving her, one sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Chas. Deeter, one brother, Mr. Grant Thayer, besides relatives and friends

There were many tributes of love and affection from friends in the beautiful floral emblems.
