Isaac Weesner, 53, Dies; Funeral Services Tuesday

Isaac Roscoe Weesner, 53 years old, died at his home Sunday evening at 6 o'clock.

He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Mable Weesner, and two sisters.

Short funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the home and the body will be shipped to Wabash, Ind., for burial Wednesday morning. Friends may call at any time.

Mrs. Isaac R. Weesner

Mrs. Mabel Stitt Weenser, 90, died Monday evening at her home, 137 South Fourteenth St. Mrs. Weesner had lived in Wabash prior to her marriage. She had been a resident here since 1919.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Doris Malone of Park Ridge, Ill.; one son, James E. Weesner of Huntington, Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchilren. She was the widow of Isaac R. Weesner.

For several years Mrs. Weesner and her sister, Miss Alice Stitt owned and operated a millinery store, known as Stitt and Weesner, in the Westcott Hotel building.

To celebrate her ninetieth birthday, Mrs. Weesner took a jet plan ride from the Dayton Airport to Chicago, where she visited her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Malone in Park Ridge. She was joined in the flight by her son, James, ground operations manager for Pan American Airways and his wife.

Services for Mrs. Weesner will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church. Rev. Forrest Brock will officiate. Burial will be at Wabash. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday at the Jones and Placke Funeral Home here.
